Note from the founder: Saloni Seth-Watkins
"I've spent most of my career in big tech — working across organisation design, product, and agile — helping build high-performing teams and systems that scale. But the hardest challenges I faced were rarely technical. At their heart, they were deeply human: weak systems thinking, fear of change, and the struggle to adapt as the world moved faster than people could keep up.
Then AI arrived — and those same pressures started showing up everywhere. Adults losing confidence in uncertainty. Quietly closing off their curiosity. Retreating from complexity rather than leaning into it.
As a parent, the implication became impossible to ignore: if we want people to thrive alongside AI, we have to focus on the human, not just the technology — and we need to start much earlier.
Children need more than literacy, tools, or apps. They need to grow the skills, mindset, and self-belief to navigate a life where AI is simply part of everyday existence.
I've shifted my focus towards creating an AI fluency programme for children — helping them understand how AI works, question it thoughtfully, and stay confident, in control, and nimble in their own thinking.
What's been unexpectedly joyful is realising that none of my past experience is lost. Agility, systems thinking, behavioural science, facilitation, ethics, product mindset — all of it applies here, just earlier, and with far greater long-term impact.
Helping children build knowledge, resilience, agility, and self-belief — calmly and playfully, before unhelpful habits set in — now that is something that truly excites me. It's a new direction, but a deeply connected one. Every thread of experience has led me here. "🙂
